Lemon 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Lemon in San José: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What lemon costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Lemon 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested lemon in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should lemon start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡1.92 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
