Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Iced in San José reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
A iced sub-ohm kit from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.14 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.14 per 10 ml.
