Iced squonk mod IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Iced in San José: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on iced: 11 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at iced in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: iced in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced squonk mod really costs in San José
We run iced the same way in San José: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where iced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Is iced legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
