Iced squonk mod IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Iced in San José: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.67 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at iced in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced squonk mod really costs in San José
Iced squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested iced in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.67 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for iced in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does iced in a squonk mod last?
In San José we measured 4 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.67 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
