Honey squonk mod IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Honey in San José: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.44 per 10 ml.
We run honey the same way in San José: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey squonk mod really costs in San José
Honey in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested honey in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where honey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long honey in San José survives.
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ₡55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.44 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.44 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does honey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the honey blend itself harsh.
