Honey refill pack IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Honey in San José: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A honey refill pack from the flat-rate options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.27 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey refill pack really costs in San José
Honey refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested honey in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where honey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ₡60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.27 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should honey start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does honey in a refill pack last?
In San José we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
