Honey mesh tank IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Honey in San José: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the honey habit
The honest read on honey: 13 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Honey mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a honey mesh tank really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested honey in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where honey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.49 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
