Honey 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Honey in San José: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Honey 60 ml bottle here
The honest read on honey: 11 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: honey in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
We run honey the same way in San José: same 60 ml bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested honey in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where honey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does honey in a 60 ml bottle last?
In San José we measured 6 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should honey start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On honey the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.73 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
