Herbal zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the order shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Herbal in San José: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
A herbal zero-nicotine bottle from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.55 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
