Herbal zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Herbal in San José: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good zero-nicotine bottle from a repack
Herbal zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on herbal: 16 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
We run herbal the same way in San José: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested herbal in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does herbal in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In San José we measured 3 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should herbal start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
