Herbal sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Herbal in San José: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Herbal sub-ohm kit here
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Herbal in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: herbal in San José works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
A herbal sub-ohm kit from the starter options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.09 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.09 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
