Herbal sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Herbal in San José: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Herbal sub-ohm kit here
Herbal sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Herbal in San José reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested herbal in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.72 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
