Herbal refill pack IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Herbal in San José: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with herbal in Costa Rica
If you are looking at herbal in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on herbal: 12 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested herbal in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in San José survives.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
