Herbal prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Herbal in San José: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Herbal is allowed to say
Herbal in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A herbal prefilled pod from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal prefilled pod really costs in San José
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested herbal in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.56 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in San José survives.
