Herbal in San José: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What herbal costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Herbal prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal prefilled pod really costs in San José
Herbal prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested herbal in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
