Herbal disposable vape IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Herbal in San José: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What herbal costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Herbal disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal disposable vape really costs in San José
A herbal disposable vape from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a disposable vape
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
