Herbal disposable vape IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Herbal in San José: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with herbal in Costa Rica
The honest read on herbal: 21 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a disposable vape running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested herbal in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in San José survives.

How much does a disposable vape cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.5 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
