Herbal disposable vape IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Herbal in San José: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Herbal is allowed to say
A herbal disposable vape from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run herbal the same way in San José: same disposable vape, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, disposable vape, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal disposable vape really costs in San José
Herbal in San José reaches the shelf in disposable vape formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested herbal in a disposable vape
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.22 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How long does herbal in a disposable vape last?
In San José we measured 7 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
