Herbal 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Herbal in San José: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a 60 ml bottle for herbal
A herbal 60 ml bottle from the cheapest options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.44 per 10 ml.
The short version: herbal in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested herbal in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in San José survives.
