Guava prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Guava in San José: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Guava prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A guava prefilled pod from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: guava in San José works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava prefilled pod really costs in San José
We run guava the same way in San José: same prefilled pod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
