Guava pen device IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Guava in San José: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
A guava pen device from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.97 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava pen device really costs in San José
We run guava the same way in San José: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.97 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How long does guava in a pen device last?
In San José we measured 6 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
