Guava nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Guava in San José: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for guava
The honest read on guava: 19 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at guava in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested guava in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.09 per 10 ml.
