Guava mesh tank IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Guava in San José: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Guava is allowed to say
A guava mesh tank from the starter options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.47 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at guava in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: guava in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava mesh tank really costs in San José
Guava in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested guava in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
