Guava mesh tank IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Guava in San José: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Guava in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at guava in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava mesh tank really costs in San José
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.63 per 10 ml.
How we tested guava in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where guava goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
