Guava box mod IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Guava in San José: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Guava is allowed to say
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on guava: 9 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: guava in San José works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava box mod really costs in San José
Guava box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where guava goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in San José survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
