Graphite squonk mod IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Graphite in San José: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Graphite in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: graphite in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite squonk mod really costs in San José
The honest read on graphite: 10 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for graphite in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does graphite in a squonk mod last?
In San José we measured 4 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.01 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
