Graphite refill pack IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Graphite in San José: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with graphite in Costa Rica
Graphite refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at graphite in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite refill pack really costs in San José
We run graphite the same way in San José: same refill pack, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested graphite in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.01 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How long does graphite in a refill pack last?
In San José we measured 5 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
