Graphite pen device IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Graphite in San José: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on graphite: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at graphite in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a graphite pen device really costs in San José
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.48 per 10 ml.
How we tested graphite in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.48 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for graphite in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
