Graphite nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the price shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Graphite in San José: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good nicotine salt bottle from a repack
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Graphite in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
We run graphite the same way in San José: same nicotine salt bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested graphite in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for graphite in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
How long does graphite in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In San José we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
