Graphite nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Graphite in San José: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with graphite in Costa Rica
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.79 per 10 ml.
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: graphite in San José works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Graphite in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested graphite in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.79 per 10 ml.
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
How long does graphite in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In San José we measured 6 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
