Graphite box mod IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Graphite in San José: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with graphite in Costa Rica
If you are looking at graphite in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Graphite in San José reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: graphite in San José works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite box mod really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested graphite in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.99 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
