Graphite 60 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Graphite in San José: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
We run graphite the same way in San José: same 60 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.39 per 10 ml.
The short version: graphite in San José works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite 60 ml bottle really costs in San José
A graphite 60 ml bottle from the online options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for graphite in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
