Graphite 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Graphite in San José: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the graphite habit
Graphite in San José reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.53 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested graphite in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
