Where buyers go wrong with grapey in Costa Rica
A grapey zero-nicotine bottle from the flat-rate options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at grapey in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested grapey in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ₡48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.54 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
How long does grapey in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In San José we measured 3 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
