Grapey sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Grapey in San José: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for grapey
Grapey sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
A grapey sub-ohm kit from the flat-rate options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ₡37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.73 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in San José survives.
