Grapey squonk mod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Grapey in San José: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Grapey is allowed to say
A grapey squonk mod from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.76 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at grapey in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: grapey in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in San José
The honest read on grapey: 13 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.76 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for grapey in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does grapey in a squonk mod last?
In San José we measured 5 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
