Grapey squonk mod IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Grapey in San José: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Grapey squonk mod here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in San José
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.26 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.26 per 10 ml.
