Grapey RDA IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Grapey in San José: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
We run grapey the same way in San José: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: grapey in San José works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey RDA really costs in San José
If you are looking at grapey in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested grapey in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for grapey in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
