Grapey pod kit IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Grapey in San José: 22 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a pod kit for grapey
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run grapey the same way in San José: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: grapey in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey pod kit really costs in San José
A grapey pod kit from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in San José survives.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
