Grapey disposable vape IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Grapey in San José: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Grapey is allowed to say
A grapey disposable vape from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.87 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a disposable vape running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: grapey in San José works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey disposable vape really costs in San José
We run grapey the same way in San José: same disposable vape, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested grapey in a disposable vape
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a disposable vape cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.87 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.87 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
