Frozen mesh tank IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in San José: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a mesh tank for frozen
We run frozen the same way in San José: same mesh tank, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen mesh tank really costs in San José
Frozen in San José reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested frozen in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
