Fig refill pack IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Fig in San José: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Fig refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run fig the same way in San José: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: fig in San José works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig refill pack really costs in San José
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested fig in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for fig in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | ₡52 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ₡1.78 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
