Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Fig prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: fig in San José works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig prefilled pod really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested fig in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.31 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
