Dessert starter kit IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Dessert in San José: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a starter kit for dessert
The honest read on dessert: 16 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Dessert in San José reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: dessert in San José works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert starter kit really costs in San José

How we tested dessert in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in San José survives.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡1.7 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
