Cream vape pen IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Cream in San José: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Cream in San José reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run cream the same way in San José: same vape pen, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long cream tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cream vape pen really costs in San José
Cream in San José reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cream in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cream goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cream in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cream the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.15 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should cream start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
