Cream nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Cream in San José: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What cream costs in San José
Cream sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run cream the same way in San José: same nicotine salt bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long cream tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cream nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José

How we tested cream in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a cream bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cream goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.98 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
