Cream mesh tank IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Cream in San José: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with cream in Costa Rica
A cream mesh tank from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.15 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Cream sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cream mesh tank really costs in San José
We run cream the same way in San José: same mesh tank, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cream in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cream goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.15 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cream with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
