Cream 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Cream in San José: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on cream: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Cream prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.69 per 10 ml.
The short version: cream in San José works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Cream in San José reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cream in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a cream bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cream goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.69 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
