Cola vape pen IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Cola in San José: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
The honest read on cola: 10 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Cola in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola vape pen really costs in San José
Cola in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cola in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cola goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.0 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here

Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.

Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.0 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
