Cola squonk mod IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Cola in San José: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What cola costs in San José
If you are looking at cola in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on cola: 14 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested cola in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cola goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in San José survives.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
